Writer Admin Date 2005-10-25 Hits 1971
The (RFID/USN) association is planning to have the system installed on the www.karus.or.kr homepage this month.

The association, RFID/USN, is earnestly responding to the recent patent right claims by foreign companies.

On the 12th of July, the association held a seminar on “how to respond to the Intellectual Property Right(IPR) dispute” in the hall of the Federation of Korean Industries. In succession, it revealed on 17th of July that it has recently planned to establish an on-line search system for the member companies to check whether a patent was registered by other companies before they undertake R&D for a RFID instrument.

The system will be installed and operated on the homepage this month and the Log-in shall be confined to the member companies. First of all, the system is going to provide 500 cases of still valid patents in relation to the RFID sector.

The association said that the system would be programmed with RFID tag, chip-R-reader for the classified search as well as other diverse search options such as the application(registration) no., the titles and the years.
